The whole atmosphere and the player's positivity was great, especially considering that for many it was the first camp of the National Team. We introduced them the tactical game plan of the Eesti Hoki, through ice and physical trainings got a n overview of the players that we would be ready for the forthcoming World Championships in April next year. The next camp for the U18 National Team candidates will be  in February 2019. For the time being, we keep an eye on the players and wish them a successful start of the season. "

Simo Luukkainen commented on the U20 camp as follows: "It is very important that the players are together for us  to get to know them. We did group work, team development activities and ice trainings. We worked with individual skills, such as defense skills and how to use the hockey stick in the defense game. Team tactics is very important - as we play, defend, and attack as a team. We watched videos and analyzed the game plan. In short, we developed both individual and team tactics. "
